“Made on a date back in 2019. 1 bottle of wine, 2 empty canvases, and just a few hours to teach her how to paint this style. I remember hers turned out looking quite similar… like a beautiful variation on a theme. Shortly after this was painted, I recorded In Hell; perhaps the ‘storm‘.”

“My first ever oil painting. Wet on wet Bob Ross style: fully self taught from Bob Ross archival videos. In retrospect, I forgive my rushed completion of this piece remembering the feeling of being 5 hours deep into a brand new process. I was fueled by this new creative medium that felt as equally taxing as rewarding. I like to reflect on this as the start of my experimentation with: light, reflection, color, space, and texture with oil paint.”
